We believe this to be the UK's ONLY 3.5mm adapter block that connects to the issued Sepura's side port and allows any ear piece with a 3.5mm jack to be connected.
Takes less than a minute to fit to a radio, a 3.5mm jack fits in tightly to the connector and is unlikely to come out with some effort. Click HERE for a video of the 3.5mm jack being inserted, demonstrating the 'positive lock'.
The block is wired for 'listen' only, you will not be able use the microphone on iPod headphones etc.
If you need to remove your vest for office work just unplug the earpiece jack and the radio will return to 'speaker' mode.
If you have your Sepura radio mounted on your shoulder, this adapter is best used with the 22" Flexo or Flexo Dynamic. The wire can be routed through loops on vests if available.

I'm profoundly deaf with cochlear implants as well as a student paramedic. Most assisted listening devices for handheld radios are made for those who still have at least some hearing and well my ears are completely useless here aha! so I wasn't able to find anything during my first placement and I couldn't properly understand the radio at all. So I bought this and it's been a massive help as I can then plug in my minimic which is a little device when plugged in that streams directly to my cochlear implants via Bluetooth. So I thank you very much for making this!
